The International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) has authorized the Egyptian International School in El-Marag to teach the Primary Years Programme.
The International Baccalaureate (IB)
On behalf of the International Baccalaureate (IB), it is my privilege to inform you that The Egyptian International School in El-Marag is to become an authorized IB World School, Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Congratulations on your considerable accomplishment.
What’s a Primary Years Programme?
We firmly believe that the best way for our learners to learn is naturally linked to daily life and transdisciplinary, that is to say not limited by the boundaries of traditional disciplines but rather strengthened by them.
The PYP is a program through which all learners are engaged on a level that matches their developmental phase.
The PYP is based both on extensive research and vast experience.
It uses quality teaching strategies from various national and independent schools as well as IB World Schools, thus offering a consistent program of international education.
All members of the learning community are open to new ideas and committed to seeking a broad range of views and opinions, encouraging open discussion and practising transparent decision-making processes.
They demonstrate agency through collective ownership, responsibility and accountability for learning and teaching, and transform schools into dynamic learning communities.
